It is situated In The Heart Of Sahyadri Hills In Satara District.
Average Climate is 160 in winter & 300 in summer.
Best Time to visit is September to Mid June.

Panchgani a quite place situated at an altitude of approx. 1335 m it is just 40 m below Mahabaleshwar. It is situated on five hills from which it derives its name as Panchgani. Panchgani is the native place for maximum number of schools and boarding Best time to visit here is in August - September when the flowers like buttercup and sweet pea abound on the hill side which gives it a total flower bed look. Grover's of casuarinas and silver oak are common sight in this scenically beautiful weekend get away.

It is the twin sister town to Mahabaleshwar,a famous hill station. The scenic beauty is a treat to the eye and a total satisfying time is promised to those who have a camera eye to click away to their hearts content especially during the monsoons.

In spite of most of the hotels and resorts been closed down for the monsoons ,there is a steady flow of tourists who come here to enjoy the rains and the natural beauty which is in abundance. The hoteliers too make the most of the season by offering discounted packages to attract tourists.

Bhim Chula, Harrisons valley, Parsi Point and the famous Table Land.

Parsi Point is the most windy point in Panchagani. It is near the Dhom dam.

Table Land is one of the Largest Table land in Asia, and many films have been shot here.This point is the most famous point of all the points in Panchagani.

Bhim Chula an exaggerated name for this place and Harrision valley both are breath taking points in Panchgani.
